Services:
AMS members use over 6000 specimen collection
facilities and we assign members one closest to
their location. Please note: Our specimen
collection facilities do not have the required
specimen collection kits and chain-of-custody forms.
You MUST take specimen collection kits,
chain-of-custody forms and a picture ID to the
specimen collection facility. Call AMS to schedule an

2. SAMHSA Certified Laboratory:
Quest Diagnostics is certified by the Substance
Abuse and Mental Health Services Association (SAMHSA)
and meets all DOT and US Coast Guard specimen testing
criteria.
Members may obtain specimen collection kits and
chain-of-custody forms from Quest Diagnostics.

3. Medical Review Officer Services:
University Services serves as our Medical Review
Officer (MRO). Our MRO evaluates, interprets and
verifies all positive and negative test results before
issuing the "Drug Free Clearance
Certificates" for each crewmember. Our MRO is
certified by the American Association of Medical
Review Officers ("AAMRO") in the field of
medical review of DOT and US Coast Guard drug testing.
